Frontiers of Condensed Matter Physics (FCMP)
All the lectures of the 2022 Spring FCMP course will be given remote online via Zoom connection.
Organizer
Main Organizer: Tomo Uemura (Columbia)
Co-Hosts: Philip Kim (Harvard), Pengcheng Dai (Rice), Weiwei Xie (Rutgers), Liuyan Zhao (Michigan)
Lecture Time
Mondays: 7:40 - 8:55 PM EST (Standard), 12:30 - 1:30 PM EST (Special, for four Physics Department Colloquia related to CMP and AMO)
Fridays: 2:40 - 3:55 PM EST (Standard)
Access to 2022 Spring FCMP Lectures
(1) If you just want to watch lectures online (without access to videos), we will keep on circulating the info to all the observers (audiences from outside institutions) of the Spring 2021 semesters.
(2) New 2022 Subscribers: If you want to have access to the videos and course materials of Spring 2022 FCMP Lectures, you need to send an email to Prof. Tomo Uemura of Columbia (yu2@columbia.edu) with your first name, last name, email address, department and university, and state grad student or postdoc.
(3) If your email address/affiliation is changed from 2021, but you want to be an observer/audience of the 2022 FCMP Lecture course, please send request to yu2@columbia.edu.
(4) If you want your name removed from the FCMP lecture email circulation list, please send email to yu2@columbia.edu and clearly ask to unsubscribe. Then we will remove you from the circulation list.

Traditionally, previous FCMP courses in 2011-18 were associated with tour to Workshops held at foreign accelerator laboratories/institutions: Beijing (2014), Vancouver (2015), Tokyo (2017) and Rome-Frascati (2018). Depending on Covid restrictions and available budgets, we are hoping to resume Workshop/Tour activities in some time of the near future.
We very much welcome your participation.
